2005 Cole Clark Angel AN1E-BM – £1099

NEW ARRIVAL  Adam Cole and Bradley Clark were senior luthiers at Maton, and left to start Cole Clark guitars in 2001. Their guitars are handmade in Australia, with innovative design techniques and all solid tonewoods. This AN1E-BM features a Bunya top with distinctive grain and colour, and figured Queensland Maple back and sides. This combination produces a voice that is very open and natural, with a woody and warm bottom end accompanied by a tight and articulate top. The Angel is a Grand Auditorium sized guitar, made using Cole Clark’s multiple X braced back for years of stability and rigidity. The nitro satin finish improves the natural tone and lets the wood breath and expand for natural tones and ageing. The very playable neck is also Queensland Maple which is topped with a River She Oak fretboard. The guitar is in excellent condition, with just one noticeable ding on the top, and is equipped with the Cole Clark 2-way Preamp system featuring a face sensor and bridge pickup plus a 3-band EQ for superb amplified acoustic tones. It comes with a Cole Clark deluxe gigbag.
