1985 Fylde Othello – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a rare example of a really high end, British made acoustic guitar, the only sunburst Fylde model, and no longer in production. The Othello is loosely based on a dreadnought body shape, and features a Red Cedar top and Honduras Mahogany back and sides. Tonally this guitar is very versatile, the Cedar top adds warmth and the Mahogany gives depth. It’s the richness and depth you notice the most, chords sound big with an accent on the bass notes, and when fingerpicked the individual notes chime with great clarity and sustain. It’s in good, well played condition, with just the kind of playwear you’d expect from a 41 year old guitar. It comes in a non original hard case
