NEW ARRIVAL With 60’s Doves fetching big money, a 70’s Dove is a more affordable way of getting one of Gibson’s flagship models, and particularly rare to find a black finish. Visually the guitar is striking with the unique pickguard and bridge, as well as the deluxe touches such as split parallelogram inlays, crown headstock and multiple binding. It features a Spruce top and Maple back and sides, which produce sparkling mids and trebles with warm bass and huge sustain. The guitar plays very easily, and quickly conjures up a very familiar Gibson sound. For a 49 year old guitar it’s in very good, played condition, with no cracks or repairs, just a small oversprayed area on the back of the headstock underneath the serial number. It comes in a non original hard case.
