1967 Gibson B25

SOLD  The B25 was produced between 1962 – 1977, replacing the better known LG2. It’s quite unusual to find a natural finish example, which contrasts beautifully with the deep red tortoise pickguard. The guitar is an X braced 00 size acoustic, with a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. For a smaller body guitar it has quite a dominant sound, well balanced and quite resonant, making it really versatile. It’s in excellent all original condition, with no cracks or repairs, just a few nicks and dings, and lots of cool looking lacquer checking. The guitar feels really solid, and plays very easily with a comfortable feeling neck and low action. As a late 60’s model the nut is 1 9/16” making them very popular with electric players used to a slimmer neck. It comes in a non original, vintage hard case.

NEW ARRIVAL  The J185 often goes under the radar, with the more famous J200 taking all the plaudits for being Gibson’s best known Spruce / Maple jumbo. Well the J185 is essentially a mini jumbo, with Spruce top and highly flamed Maple back and sides. It has its own...

1967 Epiphone Caballero – £1499

NEW ARRIVAL  Epiphones were famously made in the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo between 1960 - 1969 after Gibson bought them in 1957. Their model range mirrored Gibson’s, but had more exotic names - the Caballero is the equivalent of a Gibson LG0. It’s a 00 size, all...
