1961 Stella H912 12 String

SOLD  There are few 12 string acoustics with such a rich history. This is the model famously played by Rory Gallagher and Kurt Cobain, both influenced by Lead Belly who played an earlier Stella 12 string – it’s difficult to think of a more eclectic and influential group of guitarists….. The guitar is all Birch construction with ladder bracing, with a Poplar neck and Ebonised fingerboard. It has a big and powerful sound, quite dry and woody. It’s in excellent, all original condition, just back from a neck reset so it plays really well for a vintage 12 string. So not just a historically important guitar, but a player and a looker too. The guitar comes in a non original hard case.
