2017 Brook Taw Custom

SOLD  Brook are one of a handful of British luthiers who are held in high regard by players and collectors alike, and as such, their guitars don’t appear on the used market very often. This Custom Taw is an OM size model featuring a European Spruce top, stunning Bubinga back and sides, a Mahogany neck, with a bound Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Adding to the custom fit and finish are a bound headstock featuring Gotoh 510 tuners, and beautiful Abalone inlays on the fingerboard, rosette and body binding. This is a very dynamic sounding guitar, resonant and complex, with excellent sustain – it has great definition and clarity for fingerpicking, and works well for strumming. The guitar is in excellent condition, with just the lightest signs of playwear. The neck feels great with comfortable action. The guitar has a K and K Pure pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original Hiscox flight case.
