1979 Martin D18 – £2299

NEW ARRIVAL  The D18 is the all American guitar. It’s the sound of Americana, the warm, laid back, melodic sound has been heard on countless recordings, and played by just about anyone who’s anyone. Finding a 60’s example is getting more difficult, so 70’s models and the more affordable way of getting a similar tone and vibe. It’s mellow and warm, and really suits a lazy strumming sound, but dig in and there’s power there too – a true all rounder. It’s the classic Spruce / Mahogany dreadnought, with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, clean lines and classic good looks. The guitar’s in good condition, with a reasonable amount of playwear, nicks and dings, but no cracks or repairs. The neck is comfortable and the action is just right. The guitar comes in its original hard case.
