2011 Gibson SJ200 Studio – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  Gibson’s Studio range gives the chance to buy classic Gibson models in a stripped back format. There’s nothing budget about them, just some of the bells and some of the whistles are missing. With the SJ200 the classic Spruce / Flame Maple jumbo has a pinstriped pickguard and unbound neck and headstock. The moustache bridge, crown fingerboard inlays, and crown headstock with Abalone headstock logo are all present and correct. The feel and tone are still high end Gibson, and the Grover tuners are somehow more business like than tulip Klusons. Stripped back it may be, but it still packs a punch, and gives the classic room filling sound with great resonance and long sustain. The guitar is in very good condition, there’s just one noticeable ding on the top. The guitar has a Fishman Ellipse Aura pickup system fitted which sounds very natural when plugged in, and comes in a brand new hard case.

1967 Gibson B25 – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  The B25 was produced between 1962 - 1977, replacing the better known LG2. It’s quite unusual to find a natural finish example, which contrasts beautifully with the deep red tortoise pickguard. The guitar is an X braced 00 size acoustic, with a Spruce top...

1946 Gibson L48 – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  1946, one year after Banner Gibson’s were produced, is the only year Gibson produced guitars with the large Script logo without the Banner. By 1947 the more familiar squared logo came into production. 1946 is also the first year of production of the L48,...
