1943 Gibson LG2 Banner

SOLD  They call the LG2 the mini J45, and you can see why. It’s an incredibly versatile guitar for a 00 size, and what it lacks in bass boom, it makes up for in mid range thump and resonant trebles. As a World War 2 guitar it carries the famous ‘Only a Gibson is good enough’ Banner headstock logo. With that comes the chunky skunkstripe neck, which carries extra tone and sustain. The guitar plays like a dream, and the tobacco burst is simply stunning. Tonally it’s one of those guitars that just takes you to different musical places, and within 5 minutes you don’t want to put it down. The guitar has lots of visible battle scars, and lacquer checking, plus one long, tightly repaired back crack, and a small repaired pickguard crack. It has an LR Baggs Anthem pickup fitted, which sounds very natural when plugged in. To add to the cool factor, the guitar comes in it’s original croc hard case.
