1983 Guild D25 CH – £1099

NEW ARRIVAL  The Guild D25 has become quite a desirable vintage guitar over the years, partly because it’s the model played by Ryan Adams on his early albums. Made in the famous Westerly factory in Rhode Island, it’s an unusual example of a dreadnought made with an arched back. What this does to the sound is produce stronger mids, as the back curves towards the soundhole. Also unusual is that it has a Spruce top that’s been stained a rich Cherry colour. Tonally it’s a very versatile guitar, the bass is strong, the mids are full, and the trebles sing – the overall sound is warm. It’s in very good condition, with some light scuffs and dings, the neck is comfortable and the action is just right. The guitar has an under saddle pickup fitted and comes in it’s very desirable original hard case.
