NEW ARRIVAL When the D35 was introduced in 1965, it was a game changer – the 3 piece back allows the top to be braced more lightly, thus producing a greater bass response. In 1978 the HD35 was introduced, with scalloped bracing, giving even greater resonance, and an even fuller bass. Quite simply it’s a bit of a beast. It has classic Martin dreadnought lines with a Spruce top and Indian Rosewood, and herringbone trim. Very classy, very playable, and a tone monster. As a 3 year old guitar it’s in excellent condition, with great playability, and comes in its original Martin embossed hard case.
