2020 Larrivee OM40 – £1499

NEW ARRIVAL  Jean Larrivee prides himself on being involved at every step of the building process of his guitars – right from sourcing logs from the forest floor, all the way through to the final quality control check in his Oxnard, California factory. He is also interested in pushing the build process further, with new design technology. The OM-40 is just such a guitar, featuring Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing. This asymmetric style of bracing allows maximum resonance of the body, giving a really dynamic performance. The guitar features a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, all in a satin finish allowing the wood to respond more. The OM body shape gives the most balanced tone, with just enough bass to really kick in when pushed. The finishing touches of Maple binding, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, diamond fingerboard inlays, and engraved open back tuners add to the sophisticated feel and looks. The guitar is in excellent condition, with great playability. It has an LR Baggs Anthem pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original deluxe hard case.
