Atkin’s Essential series are beautifully built guitars with a pre war spec, with simple but classic lines on the surface. The guitar features a torrefied Sitka Spruce top with a super thin aged toner nitro finish, and Mahogany back and sides. The Spruce / Mahogany combination, give a dynamic, full tone, and the body size gives fantastic balance. The resonance is probably the main thing you notice – single notes chime, and the sustain is really impressive. Overall it’s a great all rounder, very comfortable to play and even better to listen to. The guitar is in excellent ‘aged’ condition, and comes in it’s original branded hard case.
