2020 Dave King Parlour

SOLD  Over the last 25 years, Dave King has become one of the forerunners in British luthiery, all of his guitars have a genuine hand made feel, the tone and playability of which are superb. This example is a 12 fret parlour model, featuring a Sitka Spruce top with beautiful Cocobolo back and sides. The Spruce / Cocobolo combination give great clarity and definition, and the body size gives fantastic balance. The resonance is probably the main thing you notice – single notes chime, and the sustain is really impressive. Overall it’s a great fingerpicker, very comfortable to play and even better to listen to. The guitar is in good condition, with quite a lot of lacquer checking on the top. It has a Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup system fitted, and comes in a deluxe hard case.
