2011 Gibson J45 TV Special Order – £2999

NEW ARRIVAL  This special order J45 TV is a great example of Gibson’s Custom Shop adding a twist to their already loved True Vintage series. Built to the same precision detail as the traditional J45 TV, this example is finished in a particularly vivid Cherry Sunburst – a run of only 5 made in 2011. As you’d expect it features an Adirondack Red Spruce top, with Honduras Mahogany back and sides. The small team in Montana kept the 40’s True Vintage spec of a teardrop pickguard, small button tuners, and the ‘Only A Gibson Is Good Enough’ banner logo. Also the guitar has been made using hide glue to bind it all together, which adds resonance and sustain. The guitar is in excellent condition, and has a very comfortable neck with easy playing action. The guitar comes in a period correct  hardcase which has a brown leather finish with a pink fabric interior.
