2007 Martin 00-18 Custom Deep Body – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  The Martin 00-18 is an 00 size guitar with a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides with scallop bracing. It features a Rosewood fretboard and bridge, aged open back butterbean tuners, plus bone nut and saddle. All of these appointments are signs of real quality, making this model a very accurate reproduction of it’s historical predecessors. What’s interesting about this guitar is that it’s a Custom ordered model with a deep body. So as well as amazing projection and clarity, is has greater depth in the bass, giving an altogether fuller tone. While it’s great for strumming this guitar really comes into its own when finger picking. The tone is bright and rich with plenty of character however hard or soft you play. It would make the perfect studio guitar, great for close mic-ing, beautifully balanced with great definition. The guitar’s in excellent condition and is a dream to play, and comes in it’s original deluxe Martin hard case.
