1990 Martin HD28 – £2599

NEW ARRIVAL  The HD28 is noticeably different to a D28. Not just the herringbone trim that gives it a more deluxe look, but the scalloped bracing which allows the top to resonate more, giving a more lively playing experience. Never boomy, but more dynamic sounding. It’s a very versatile guitar, handling strumming and flat picking equally well, but also very comfortable with more gentle fingerstyle – a real all rounder. For a 35 year old guitar it’s in good condition, with lots of playwear, but no cracks or repairs. It’s also an unusual example of a sunburst HD28, which is pretty difficult to find, and very eye catching. The guitar is really playable, with a comfortable neck, and has an active under saddle pickup fitted. It comes in a non original deluxe hard case.
