2002 Martin D-18GE Golden Era 1934

SOLD  Martin’s Golden Era series ran from 2000 – 2016, and represent the best features of instruments in that era, as distinct from being exact reproductions of specific guitars. The Adirondack Spruce top, Big Leaf Mahogany back and sides with forward shifted scalloped “X” bracing are just a few design features that make this guitar sound different to the other D18’s. It’s a very dynamic sounding guitar, play it lightly and it chimes with open airy undertones, put a pick on it and it roars. The bass is powerful without being boomy, and the trebles are strong and pure. Adirondack takes longer to open up, but at 21 years old, this guitars already sounds mature. Other things to mention are the Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Brazilian headstock and open back Waverley tuners – plus the hand signed label by CF Martin IV. The guitar’s in excellent condition with great playability, and comes in it’s original deluxe hard case.
