1999 Santa Cruz D/E – £3499

NEW ARRIVAL  Santa Cruz have become known as masters of the art of guitar making, taking traditional designs and improving on them.  The D/E guitar features a Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, with an Ebony fingerboard and bridge. This model was only made for a short time, specifically for the export market (hence the designation D/E). It differs from the standard Santa Cruz D in that the top braces are redesigned to taper and not notch into the linings so that the top vibrates more freely, giving the guitar incredible presence and bass response, yet retaining a good balance with strong midrange and bright powerful trebles. This means the guitar works very well for fingerstyle playing as well as powerful rhythm bass lines. It’s seriously one of the best dreadnoughts you will ever play. It’s in excellent condition, and comes in a Hiscox flight case.
