1999 Gibson Nick Lucas Custom Shop – £2599

Aug 20, 2026 | Gibson

NEW ARRIVAL  Gibson’s collaboration with Nick Lucas gave birth to one of the most desirable models ever. The body is small but deep, which gives a full bass, crisp, sparkling top-end, and exceptional tonal balance. This Gibson Custom Shop model is made from only the finest tonewoods, featuring a Sitka Spruce top and beautifully figured Flamed Maple back and sides. The fingerboard has the classic Nick Lucas inlays, add to that traditional scalloped X-Bracing, all put together using hide glue for superior response and resonance, and this guitar sounds as good as it looks. The classy finishing touches include a Fleur De Lis inlay on the headstock, Waverly open-back tuning machines and a Firestripe pickguard. It also has the very cool original Nick Lucas reissue label, which was only available on the early reissue models. There’s an undersaddle pickup for a great plugged in stage sound as well. The guitar is in very good condition, plays like a dream, and comes complete with a Gibson embossed hardshell case.
