1997 Goodall AMHS Aloah

SOLD  Goodall are one of the best small production companies that American luthiery has to offer, producing genuinely hand made guitars in Hawaii. And since he’s decreased production numbers, James Goodall’s guitars are becoming very rare on the open market. This example is a take on a classic slope shoulder dreadnought, and features a Sitka Spruce top, with Honduras Mahogany back and sides, and Ohia fingerboard and bridge. The head plate is highly flamed Koa, the binding is Maple, and the rosette is Abalone. He’s kept the visuals classic, and the tone is something else – it has incredible presence and bass response, yet retains a good balance with strong midrange and bright powerful trebles. It’s very responsive for fingerstyle playing as well as powerful rhythm bass lines. The guitar’s in excellent condition, with great playability, and comes in a non original hard case.
