1982 Kinkade Model D

SOLD  This Model D was made as a custom order by the renowned Bristol Luthiers “The Kinkade Brothers”, back in the day when both Johnny and Simon Kinkade worked together. These days Johnny is well known as one of the most respected British guitar builders and he is still based in Kingsdown Bristol. The early Kinkade Brothers Guitars are now becoming collectors items but they are quite hard to find. This guitar is one of their earlier examples, made in 1982. It’s a classic square shouldered dreadnought, with Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. It has classic clean lines, with a very funky pickguard. The tone is full and rich, with a warm bass underlying everything you play. The neck feels great with a comfortable playing action, and there’s a K and K pickup fitted.

1994 Guild D25-12 – £1249
