1975 Guild F50R – £2299

NEW ARRIVAL  Guild have long gone below the radar of high end US acoustics, but jumbos is what they do best. This 1975 guitar is a particularly early example, from the famous Westerly factory. With a Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides, it’s a real powerhouse of a guitar. It’s dynamic, rich and resonant, moving a lot of air, it will cut through any mix. The looks are killer too – diamond block inlays on a bound Ebony fingerboard, the iconic G branded headstock, and the distinctive pickguard and two point bridge. The guitar is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs, a reasonable amount of playwear for a 51 year old, including a zigzag scratch on the back of the heel, and changed Grover tuners. The neck feels great with comfortable playability, and there’s an active LR Baggs pickup fitted. The guitar comes in it’s original branded hard case.
