1959 Pre Vox Jennings (JMI) Archtop – £499

NEW ARRIVAL  This is an interesting example of a JMI produced guitar before they put a Vox badge on their headstocks and produced some of the 60’s most extravagant electric guitars. Most famously played by Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, Vox guitars have a significant place in music history. This old archtop has a lovely vintage charm, the tone is full and bright, and strums as well as it picks. It can take you from blues, through rock ’n’ roll, to jazz. It’s in very good condition, with a comfortable action, and plays well up until about the 15th fret. All in all a very cool guitar with great history.
