1948 Martin 0-15

SOLD  This is a rare find, there were fewer 0-15’s made than the better known 00-15’s and 00-17’s, and such an early example is very special. The all Mahogany body gives warmth and depth to the woody tone, and the slightly smaller body than a 00 gives this guitar a more focused sound. Ideal for fingerpicking, yet this guitar has enough in the bass to handle strumming surprisingly well. The guitar has been fully restored, including a neck reset and refret, and beautiful looking shellac finish. There’s just one tightly repaired back crack to report. The neck has a soft V profile and the action is very comfortable. For a 74 year old guitar, it still has a lot of songs left in it – a songwriters dream. It comes in a deluxe hard case.
