1938 Epiphone Olympic

SOLD  This guitar is from Epiphone’s golden archtop age, when the company was still based in New York before they were bought by Gibson in 1957. 30’s and 40’s Epiphone archtops have long been considered among the best of their kind, and the Epiphone Olympic is now famous in it’s own right as the guitar of choice of David Rawlings. The guitar features a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, and has a bright, punchy tone with plenty of volume.  The dark sunburst is still vivid, and being a ’38 model is the first year to feature the now iconic Frequensator tailpiece. The guitar is in very good, all original condition, with no cracks or repairs, and fantastic playability. It comes in it’s original hard case.

1967 Gibson B25 – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  The B25 was produced between 1962 - 1977, replacing the better known LG2. It’s quite unusual to find a natural finish example, which contrasts beautifully with the deep red tortoise pickguard. The guitar is an X braced 00 size acoustic, with a Spruce top...

1946 Gibson L48 – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  1946, one year after Banner Gibson’s were produced, is the only year Gibson produced guitars with the large Script logo without the Banner. By 1947 the more familiar squared logo came into production. 1946 is also the first year of production of the L48,...
