2021 Atkin Essential OM-A – £2499
NEW ARRIVAL Handcrafted in Canterbury, Alistair Atkin has the knack of producing guitars with vintage look and feel, and aged tone. The Essential OM is based on a Martin OM-18, from their Golden Age of acoustics. The guitar features a torrefied Sitka Spruce top with a super thin aged toner nitro finish, and Mahogany back and sides. The Spruce / Mahogany combination, give a dynamic, full tone, and the body size gives fantastic balance. The resonance is probably the main thing you notice – single notes chime, and the sustain is really impressive. Overall it’s a great all rounder, very comfortable to play and even better to listen to. The guitar is in excellent condition, and comes in it’s original branded hard case.
