2013 Patrick James Eggle Kanuga – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  It was sad to hear that Patrick has stopped producing acoustic guitars to concentrate on electrics. As an acoustic luthier, he’s one of the best in Britain. The Kanuga is a classic Spruce / Rosewood slope shoulder dreadnought guitar, but with a 12 fret neck join and an extra deep body. These features add noticeable depth to the sheer power and dynamic range of this guitar which can cut through just about any mix. It has incredible presence and bass response, yet retains a good balance with strong midrange and bright powerful trebles. Plus the visuals of the guitar are really striking – classic lines, with a beautiful dark sunburst, herringbone trim and Abalone rosette. The guitar’s in very good condition, and plays very easily. It has a K and K pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original Hiscox flight case.
