2021 Gomans J-S12FC Fan Fret – £999

NEW ARRIVAL Gomans are a French brand who have a unique take on guitar production. They sourced a high quality Chinese guitar builder, and instead of mass producing guitars, they commissioned boutique level instruments. This fan fret guitar is a jumbo body size, with Engleman Spruce top and Honduras Mahogany back and sides. It features Maple neck and body binding and a Rosewood armrest bevel. The whole idea of a fan fretted guitar is to give extra string length on the bass strings, which gives a far more flexible feel and richer response, and the shorter treble strings which allows for greater clarity and more bell like treble tone. Tonally the guitar works particularly well for fingerstyle, with great clarity and balance, and has a particular drive in the mid range when strummed. The guitar is in excellent condition, with great playability, and comes in it’s original deluxe hard case.
