NEW ARRIVAL Once again Martin Custom Shop have produced a quite stunning guitar. This example harks back to their Golden Era dreadnoughts, with an Adirondack Spruce top over beautifully figured Madagascan Rosewood. All the finishing touches are classy and understated. There’s an old style headstock logo, diamond fingerboard inlays, open back Waverley tuners, and a 1 3/4” soft V neck. Everything else is about the tone. There’s a smooth rumble in the bass with a warm feel, rich and detailed mids, and a bright shimmer in the trebles. It responds well to gentle fingerstyle, but has a real kick when you dig in. Very versatile, quite complex sounding, and comfortable in any setting. As a 12 year old guitar its naturally aged and matured. The guitar’s in very good condition, with some light playwear, and comes in its original deluxe hard case.
