1969 Yamaha FG150 – £499

Oct 6, 2026 | Others

NEW ARRIVAL   Along with the FG-180 and FG-300, the Yamaha FG-150 was one of the original “red label” six-string acoustics built in Japan starting in 1969, This guitar captures a moment in time when – certainly in the folk scene – anyone who was anyone played a Yamaha. The guitar has great warmth to its tone. When strummed it has a rich, full tone, and when fingerpicked it has great clarity and detail. It’s in all original, well played condition, with lots of nicks and dings, but no cracks or repairs. The feel of the neck is very comfortable, and the playability is easy. The guitar has an active Headway under saddle pickup fitted which sounds great plugged in.
