NEW ARRIVAL The Collings SJ Mh combines a more compact jumbo style body size, which pushes the mid range, with a dynamic punch, courtesy of the European Spruce top. The single note separation, and strong projection are what you notice first. Then the low rumble in the bass, from the Mahogany back and sides, completes the sound spectrum. All the classic Collings touches are there; Pre-War scalloped X bracing, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and tortoise fingerboard and headstock binding. Then there’s Collings’ own Modern Diamond inlays on the headstock and fingerboard. It’s a really different take on a small jumbo, and one which Collings have absolutely mastered. The guitar is in excellent condition, with great playability, and comes in its original deluxe hard case.
