NEW ARRIVAL This is a great chance to buy a difficult to find Martin jumbo acoustic. Introduced in 1987, and only produced in small numbers, the J18 M is a jumbo version of the better known D18, and features a gloss Spruce top, with satin Mahogany back sides. It produces a rich full sound, with a deep throaty bass, yet well balanced and resonant across the mids and trebles. The guitar is capable of handling heavy strumming with a room filling sound, yet equally happy being fingerpicked and responsive enough when played delicately – it really is a great all rounder. It features diamond fingerboard inlays, Ebony button tuners, and tortoise body binding. This 1988 model is in good condition, with light playwear, plus some lacquer checking. The neck feels very smooth and easy to play, and there’s a neatly smoothed over ding on the treble side rim, lower bout. The guitar comes in its original, Martin embossed hard case.
