2015 Martin D35E 50th Anniversary

SOLD  For Martin’s 50th anniversary D35, they pulled out all the stops making it the most visually striking D35 ever – only made in very small numbers, the traditional 3 piece back has curved lines, which are also mimicked on the headstock plate, a really quite beautiful piece of craftsmanship. A lot of people consider the Martin D35 to be a deluxe version of a D28, which is arguably the benchmark Spruce / Rosewood dreadnought. Tonally it has a very complex sound, great depth and resonance, plenty of punch and attack, and well balanced with superbly articulated clarity. This example sounds great strummed or fingerpicked, and great definition and sustain when soloing. From a playability point of view, this guitar is a treat, the neck has a great feel to it, and the action is just right. The guitar is in excellent, all original condition, with just very light playwear, has a Fishman Aura pickup system fitted and comes in it’s original Martin hard case.
