1969 Gibson J200

SOLD  What can you say about the J200 that hasn’t already been said. It really is the King of the Flat Tops. Probably the most recognisable acoustic guitar of all time. Think Elvis, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, the Rolling Stones, Pete Townsend, Noel Gallagher….. The list goes on. It’s difficult not to talk about the looks before even mentioning the sound. A dark golden finish with the classic poppy head pickguard, moustache bridge, crown fingerboard inlays, waffle back tuners. One strum of this guitar and you know what it’s all about – a bright, shimmering tone, making every chord sound better, great clarity and long sustain, it actually sounds quite orchestral. The guitar is in excellent condition, and plays really well, all original other than the upgraded bone saddle, with no cracks or repairs. It even comes in it’s original hard case.

1967 Gibson B25 – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  The B25 was produced between 1962 - 1977, replacing the better known LG2. It’s quite unusual to find a natural finish example, which contrasts beautifully with the deep red tortoise pickguard. The guitar is an X braced 00 size acoustic, with a Spruce top...

1946 Gibson L48 – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  1946, one year after Banner Gibson’s were produced, is the only year Gibson produced guitars with the large Script logo without the Banner. By 1947 the more familiar squared logo came into production. 1946 is also the first year of production of the L48,...
