2020 Larrivee OMV-40 Rosewood – £1649

NEW ARRIVAL  The Larrivee 40 series is from their Legacy range and features Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing. This is a non symmetrical bracing system that essentially gives maximum strength using the least amount of material. Add this to the guitar’s satin finish and it provides ultimate resonance. These features on an OM body with cutaway, and Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, means it works really well as a fingerpickers guitar, with fast attack, great clarity and incredible sustain, and the volume it can produce when pushed makes it a fantastic strummer as well – very versatile. As you’d expect from a guitar of this quality, it features an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Maple binding, herringbone trim, and beautifully engraved open back tuners. As a 5 year old guitar, the tone has started to mature really well, and is in excellent condition. The guitar has an LR Baggs pickup system and comes in it’s original embossed hard case.
