2018 Collings D1 – £3999

NEW ARRIVAL  The Collings D1 is a refreshingly different take on the classic Spruce / Mahogany dreadnought. The use of Sitka Spruce rather than Adirondack gives a warmer, more characterful tone, and the Honduras Mahogany back and sides keep your lead lines clear and distinct. This guitar is incredibly balanced in it’s frequency response, the notes are rich and full all the way up and down the neck. The midrange and high-end sparkle will cut through any studio or on-stage mix with ease, while the lows are balanced, defined, well rounded, and never boomy. The guitar is a great player, with a very comfortable feeling neck. It’s in very good condition, with very little in the way of playwear, although it has a small depression on the treble side rim, on the lower bout. The guitar comes in it’s original deluxe hard case.
