2013 Martin 00-18V – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  From Martin’s highly acclaimed Vintage series, this 00-18V is a real looker. It features a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, has scalloped bracing, an Ebony fretboard and bridge, plus bone nut and saddle, and vintage style Waverley open-geared tuners. All of these appointments are signs of real quality. Tonally it’s fantastic, the Sitka spruce has a wide tonal range with great projection making it hugely versatile, quite complex and able to handle the most subtle of playing styles. The guitar’s in good condition, with a couple of dings and one scratch on the rim, plus some glue lines around the binding, and is a dream to play. It comes in it’s original deluxe Martin hard case with one latch missing.

1955 Martin 0-15

SOLD  This is a rare find, there were fewer 0-15’s made than the better known 00-15’s and 00-17’s, and such an early example is very special. The all Mahogany body gives warmth and depth to the woody tone, and the slightly smaller body than a 00 gives this guitar a...
