2007 Gibson SJ100 – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  The Gibson SJ-100 is one of the largest bodied flat top acoustics that you can buy today. With a long history dating back all the way to 1941 it’s been reissued in a number of different formats, but never with Black Walnut back and sides. Topped with Sitka Spruce, the tone sits somewhere between Mahogany and Rosewood, meaning you get a full sounding guitar that has a particular midrange punch that you don’t hear very often. The guitar has classic looks, with a tortoise pickguard contrasting beautifully with the honeyed Spruce top, and moustache bridge. Altogether a very classy act, the neck feels great, and the action is very comfortable. The guitar has an LR Baggs Element pickup fitted with volume control mounted in the soundhole, and comes in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case.
