2006 HUSS AND DALTON OM-C CUSTOM

SOLD   It’s rare to see a Huss and Dalton on the second hand market, hand made in Virginia these guitars are exceptional instruments. This example is a tone machine coupled with stunning good looks. The highly figured Claro Walnut back and sides are a sight to behold, while the Engleman Spruce top features an Abalone rosette, and this is set off with Rosewood top and back binding. The beautifully inlaid fingerboard is Ebony, as is the bridge and Grover tuner buttons. The sheer power and dynamic range of this guitar can cut through just about any mix. It has incredible presence and deep bass response, yet the balance from a rich midrange to strong powerful trebles is very impressive. It’s very responsive for fingerstyle playing and handles flat picking supremely – seriously one of the best OM’s you will ever play. The guitar’s in very good condition, with the usual signs of light playwear, some buckle wear, plus one scratch in the lacquer on the back. The guitar has an active under saddle pickup fitted, and comes in it’s original embossed tweed hard case.
