2003 Gibson Songwriter Deluxe – £1699

NEW ARRIVAL  The Gibson Songwriter Deluxe is a modern take on Gibson’s classic square shoulder dreadnoughts but, together with a Sitka Spruce top, it has Rosewood back and sides. This combination gives a sparkling tone, with rich, detailed overtones – really quite dynamic. The guitar has an Ebony fingerboard and bridge with very striking Abalone inlays and rosette, an eye catching natural headstock, and Grover tuners. However the most striking thing about this guitar is the beautifully figured Rosewood back and sides – really quite Brazilian looking. It’s in very good condition, with a repaired side crack, and at 19 years old it’s beginning to mature really well. There’s also an L.R. Baggs M1 soundhole pickup fitted which sounds very natural when plugged in. The guitar comes in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case.
