2003 Gibson J100 XT – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  For those who can’t afford a J200, but want that tone and feel, a J100 XT is the next best thing – a stripped down version with an unbound neck and headstock. Visually it’s quite striking, the Spruce top has darkened to a rich honey colour and the Flamed Maple back and sides contrast beautifully. When strummed it has a room filling sound, yet when fingerpicked it has great clarity on individual notes. The guitar has a well played feel to it, very comfortable, with some great looking lacquer checking. Made in Montana, it has an active Fishman undersaddle pickup fitted. The guitar comes in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case.
