1995 Larrivee OM-10 Koa – £1799

NEW ARRIVAL  Larrivee’s 10 series is a noticeable step up from their other ranges. All the tone woods are hand selected by Jean Larrivee, and the build quality is of the highest standard. This OM model features the highly desirable combination of Spruce top with beautifully figured Koa back and sides. There’s intricate Abalone inlays on the headstock and fingerboard, as well as eye catching Abalone top binding and rosette. The other high end features you’d expect are an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bine nut and saddle, and unusually Rosewood body binding to contrast with the Koa. It’s a feast for the eyes. Tonally it’s fantastic, the Sitka spruce has a wide tonal range with great projection, and the Koa is rich and resonant, making it hugely versatile, capable of both bright and punchy tones, yet quite complex and able to handle the most subtle of playing styles. The guitar’s in excellent condition, beautifully matured over the last 31 years, and is a dream to play. It  comes in a non original flight case.
