1994 Gibson J200 Deluxe 100th Anniversary

SOLD  To celebrate their 100th anniversary, Gibson re-issued 12 special guitars in 1994, with each model hand-crafted in a limited run of only 100 instruments. Interestingly, as well as a standard J200, they also produced a J200 Deluxe with Abalone binding on the top, rosette, back and back stripe. It also features and Ebony fingerboard and moustache bridge, and gold stairstep tuners. Just when you thought a J200 couldn’t get any better looking….. As you’d expect, the Spruce top is highest grade, and the Maple back and sides is super flamey. Unusually for such a collectable guitar, it’s actually been played, and there’s cool looking lacquer checking and a more open sound to prove it. The guitar’s in excellent condition, with very good playability, and comes in it’s original embossed hard case, with purple lining and shroud.

2003 Gibson J185 – £2299

NEW ARRIVAL  The J185 often goes under the radar, with the more famous J200 taking all the plaudits for being Gibson’s best known Spruce / Maple jumbo. Well the J185 is essentially a mini jumbo, with Spruce top and highly flamed Maple back and sides. It has its own...

1967 Epiphone Caballero – £1499

NEW ARRIVAL  Epiphones were famously made in the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo between 1960 - 1969 after Gibson bought them in 1957. Their model range mirrored Gibson’s, but had more exotic names - the Caballero is the equivalent of a Gibson LG0. It’s a 00 size, all...
