1993 David Oddy NY 00 – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  David Oddy guitars have become a thing of myth and legend, as they’re so highly thought of, but rarely come on the second hand market. This 00 12 fret model is one of his earlier models, and very classic looking. It features a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, a Rosewood fingerboard and Ebony bridge. As finishing touches it has snowflake fingerboard inlays, and tortoise double rosette and body binding. Tonally it’s hugely responsive, very articulate, with great clarity and long sustain. It’s very versatile, handling all playing styles in equal measure. The guitar is in very good condition, with a repaired back crack, and some light lacquer checking on the top. It’s very comfortable to play and comes in an upgraded flight case.
