1991 Mike Vanden Custom OM – £2999

NEW ARRIVAL  Mike Vanden is best known for making high end archtop guitars for the likes of Martin Taylor and Mitch Dalton. However his lesser known flat top acoustics are played by an elite bunch including Clive Carroll and Gordon Giltrap. This guitar was custom made in 1991 for the current owner, to his exact specifications. It features an Engleman Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides. There’s an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, with Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay, and Gotoh tuners. Tonally it’s a very lively guitar, with great response, clarity and vibrant tone. The guitar’s a great all rounder, but really excels with fingerpicking and flat picking. The guitar’s in excellent condition for it’s age, with just a few dings and one scratch near the end pin, and comes in it’s original flight case.
