1990 Larrivee J-09 – £1599

May 12, 2026 | Others

NEW ARRIVAL  It’s quite unusual to find a jumbo Larrivee, particularly such a high end example. This J-09 model features the classic combination of Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, plus the high end finish of a bound Ebony fingerboard and Ebony bridge, plus Walnut binding. Tonally it’s fantastic, the Sitka spruce has a wide tonal range with great projection making it hugely versatile, capable of both bright and punchy tones, yet quite complex and able to handle the most subtle of playing styles. The guitar’s in excellent condition, beautifully matured over the last 36 years, and is a dream to play. It has an active LR Baggs pickup fitted, and comes in a non original flight case.
