1979 Fylde Orsino – £1799

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a rare example of a really high end, British made acoustic guitar. The Fylde Orsino is loosely based on a dreadnought body shape, and features a Red Cedar top and Honduras Mahogany back and sides. Tonally this guitar is very versatile, the Cedar top adds warmth and the Mahogany gives depth. It’s the richness and depth you notice the most, chords sound big with an accent on the bass notes, and when fingerpicked the individual notes chime with great clarity and sustain. It’s in good, condition, clearly played a lot, and the mature tone is a sign of this. The neck feels comfortable, with good playing action, and comes in it’s original Hiscox flight case.
