1972 Martin D28 – £3299

NEW ARRIVAL  Over the years, the D28 has become the best known Spruce / Rosewood dreadnought, a true classic and an icon. It’s sound is pretty much synonymous with late 60’s and early 70’s recordings. Whether it’s classic folk, Americana, country or bluegrass, this 1972 example will take you there – it’s hauntingly reminiscent. It’s the early 70’s examples that are really prized, as they’re the oldest D28’s you can buy without paying 60’s prices. The guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with a beautifully honeyed top. The neck feels great and the playability is fantastic. The guitar comes in its original powder blue hard case.
