1948 Gibson J50

SOLD  Something special happens when you pick up a really good vintage Gibson. It feels immediately comfortable and somehow familiar. It makes you play songs you haven’t played for years, yet makes you want to start writing new songs. It’s a very involving and emotive experience. This 1948 J50 does exactly what it says on the tin – a true classic. It looks great, feels great, sounds great. There’s a dry rumble in the bass, a smooth sparkle in the trebles, and an evenness in the mids that gives a great balance. The guitar is in all original condition, with just the right amount of playwear to tell you it’s been played and loved. The neck feels great and the action is very comfortable. It’s an American classic, and as a 40’s Gibson it’s highly desirable. The guitar has a repaired rim crack near the end pin, and comes in a non original hard case.
